Workflow assessment and automation

Workflows often cross several people, documents and tools before anyone can see the whole process. Lucci maps those handoffs, decisions and exceptions so teams can decide what to simplify and where software can help.

Where this work helps

This work fits teams facing repeated manual steps, unclear ownership, disconnected systems or a process that has become difficult to explain. The assessment starts with the work itself, including the parts that should continue to rely on human judgment.

What we examine

  • How requests, information and decisions move through the workflow
  • Handoffs, repeated entry, delays and unclear responsibility
  • Exceptions, approval points and the tools people already use
  • Opportunities to simplify the process before adding automation

What the work can deliver

  • A map of the current workflow and its important dependencies
  • A prioritized set of process and software improvements
  • A proposed workflow with ownership and exception handling made explicit
  • An implementation plan, or scoped internal tools and integrations

How we approach it

We establish the process boundary, examine the current steps with your team and identify changes that fit your systems. Where implementation is included, we agree on how the result will be checked, handed over and maintained.

An assessment does not assume that every task should be automated or that AI is required. Time savings and other outcomes need a baseline and an agreed measurement method before they can be claimed.
